Brief bio

Millard Johnson a career librarian began writing seriously when he and his wife, Jane Howard (Cardiologist) moved to a hobby farm outside Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jane’s interested in horses led the couple to countless fairs, parades, riding clinics, and various farm yards and stock barns throughout the midwest.

On retirement, after the couple moved into retirement in central Florida, Millard applied his skill as a writer to his experience with all things equestrian to write a detective novel intended to be of interest to women who love horses.

Johnson has two books in print:

Country Songs: Stories of Living and Dying in the Heart of America

and

Shooting Star.

Millard wants your thoughts on his books and will answer all emails.
